Description

The pAMC_Rev plasmid is engineered to express the Rev (Regulator of Virion Expression) protein, a critical trans-acting factor in the lentiviral life cycle.

Rev facilitates the nucleocytoplasmic transport of unspliced and singly-spliced viral RNA transcripts—a prerequisite for the synthesis of structural and enzymatic proteins. Its function is therefore indispensable for achieving efficient virion assembly and producing potent lentiviral vectors. It is a core component of our packaging system, intended for use alongside pAMC_Pack and pAMC_Env to ensure successful vector production.
